Artificial Intelligence
The star of MWC, for years now, has been artificial intelligence, a technology without which most of the congress's innovations wouldn't make sense. Every device, solution, treatment, or technology presented this year is in some way linked to AI. In this edition, AI has become a mandatory feature for any solution showcased at MWC.
Talent
This year’s congress has spotlighted digital talent, with the second edition of Talent Arena. This event, aimed at attracting and nurturing digital talent while reinforcing Barcelona’s role as a European tech hub, featured internationally renowned speakers such as Steve Wozniak (Apple co-founder), Cassie Kozyrkov (AI expert and Google’s first Chief Decision Scientist), and Garry Kasparov (Chess Grandmaster and strategy & tech analyst).
Health
Surprisingly, some of the most significant innovations in digital health are also showcased at MWC. Since last year, this sector—particularly led by startups—has had a dedicated space within 4YFN, where groundbreaking advancements merge cutting-edge technologies with healthcare, from cancer detection to revolutionary treatments.
Cybersecurity
As every year, MWC serves as a global platform for unveiling the latest cybersecurity trends, and this year was no exception. Advances were presented in identification methods, network security, and quantum security solutions.

This has been made possible by real-world advancements in autonomous driving, bringing it closer to becoming a reality. The big challenge? Convincing the public to feel safe in a driverless car.
